Hayden Panettiere is the English voice actress for Kairi in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. She is a well-known American singer and actress. I personally believe she did a nice job with Kairi’s role in both games, but I suppose that could be just because I am used to her voice. She put emotion and good tones into her lines, and if I could have picked whom to play Kairi’s English voice, I probably would have gone with Hayden. She has voiced and acted in numerous other roles such as:
• Claire Bennet in Heroes
• Princess Dot in A Bug’s Life
• Suri in Dinosaur
• Jessica in Malcolm in the Middle
Name: Uchida Risa
Birthday: February 12, 1989
Born in: Kanagawa Prefecture
Uchida Risa is the Japanese voice actress for Kairi in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. She is not very recognized outside of her roles for Kairi, as she has only done a few. From 2001-2002, she was on the morning show Oha Star as one of the "Oha Girls". Her group "Oha Girl Grape" released one single called "Kimi no Mae de Piano wo Hajikou". I played through both games in English, so I am not very used to Risa’s take on Kairi’s character. That is not to say I think she did a bad job, however, because I do like her voice. She seems to put a lot of emotion into the part as well, and I think Risa did a nice job overall. She has done a few other roles such as:

• Young Nala in The Lion King
